About the program
The Prescriptive and Custom Program makes it easy for our Commercial & Industrial customers to install high-efficiency electric equipment across a wide range of technologies and receive quick one-for-one incentives. Prescriptive incentives cover equipment listed below for heating and cooling, refrigeration, HVAC controls, lighting and lighting controls, food service equipment, and more. Custom incentives allow for non- standard, more complex electric energy efficiency measures that are not defined as a prescriptive measures to receive an incentive.
PROCESS
- Complete and submit your Prescriptive or Custom incentive application through our online portal.
- Receive a confirmation email that your application has been received. If your project meets all eligibility requirements, your application will be approved, and you can move forward with your project.
- Receive your application pre-approval letter.
- Install equipment and complete project completion sections of the project portal
- Receive your incentive.
All projects are subject to pre-approval and post inspection to confirm equipment installation prior to incentive payment.

Custom Incentives
The Custom pathway provides our Commercial & Industrial customers the opportunity to implement non-standard, more complex electric energy efficiency measures that are not defined as a prescriptive measure. Through the Custom pathway, we help customers develop tailored projects that best meet their unique facility and organizational goals. Custom Measures do not include maintenance or repair measures such as compressed air system leak repair. Custom projects are typically multi-measure or optimization solutions for which customers earn performance-based incentives using $/kWh.
